    SHIPPING AND RETURNS

    Update: We are currently seeing significant delays in average domestic shipping times of 5-10 business days, with both Australia Post and Courier Services being impacted.  We are also experiencing disruptions with incoming container shipments, which are shifting eta's out by up to 3-4 weeks. 

    At Dianna-Lynn Decor, we utilise the following shipping and delivery methods:

    Australia Post

    Many lightweight items can be shipped via Australia Post.  If you are not at home at the time of delivery, a card with alternative arrangements will be left at your residence (usually your parcel will be stored at your local post office for pick up).

    Couriers and Freight Companies

    For all other items, including larger items that cannot be shipped via Australia Post, we will send them through one of several freight carriers. Our freight deliveries are sent straight to your doorstep.  All carriers are engaging in contactless delivery due to COVID.  You can track the goods via your personal 'tracking link' to establish which day the goods will be out for delivery (if you check the Tracking feature by 10am in the mornings it will advise if the goods are out for delivery that day).

    Furniture deliveries are to the front door of the ground floor only.  If you require assistance beyond this, please contact us and we will arrange a quote.

    Items will be delivered to the address you provided when placing the order. If you provide a PO box as the delivery address we may need to contact you for a physical delivery address depending on the item. We suggest you provide a street address for delivery if you are purchasing larger items.

    If, for any reason, our shipping partner is not able to successfully deliver your order they should leave a card with further delivery instructions. In these situations, Dianna-Lynn Decor reserves the right to charge you for any additional costs incurred (e.g. shipping and storage) or to cancel the sale contract, in which case, we will fully refund you the net amount (i.e. the amount you paid minus shipping costs or storage costs).

    Upon arrival of your package, please note any damage to the box as well as any damage to the item itself. If you feel that the damage to an item or a box is too severe please refuse the package. There is no need to refuse all delivered packages if most are in good condition.

    FREE METRO DELIVERY AUSTRALIA* FOR PURCHASES OVER $2000

    We offer free metro delivery with purchases of $2000 and over with the exception of Northern Territory and Tasmania.  If you reside in Northern Territory or Tasmania or outside of the metropolitan area, please contact us prior to check out to see if delivery of your purchase will incur a freight charge.  

    In very exceptional cases, where delivery may result in unusually high freight charges, Dianna-Lynn Decor reserves the right to cancel an order.  In most cases we will still offer a generous freight subsidy first. Please contact us first if you'd like to check if your location may be subject to unusually high freight charges.

    1. Shipping time
    Unless otherwise stated on the product page, most items will be dispatched within 1-2 business days of purchase by either Australia Post or Courier (depending on parcel size).  

    Furniture items will normally be dispatched within 7-14 days of purchase unless stated otherwise on the product page or informed by Dianna-Lynn Decor.

    Where your order consists of in stock items with variable estimated dispatch dates, items will be dispatched together at the later date once all items have been compiled.  This excludes orders containing a combination of in stock and pre ordered items.  In this situation, in stock items will be dispatched first.

    International Delivery

    Many of our small to medium sized items can be delivered internationally.  Freight quotes calculated at checkout are weight based and assume the item is less than 140cm in girth.  Girth is calculated by adding the two shortest lengths of the package together and then multiplying the result by 2.  In the event that the girth of your purchase exceeds 140cm, we will offer you an alternative where possible, or offer you a refund.

    Where items are very fragile and are in our opinion not practical for international shipping due to the likelihood of breakage during transit, we reserve the right to cancel your order in which case you will be refunded in full.

    All international customers are responsible for any duties, import taxes and other clearance fees incurred and any return shipping costs.

    2. Change of mind returns

    We want you to feel confident when buying from Dianna-Lynn Decor. Should you change your mind about a purchase you have made with us, you have the option of returning the item within 30 days of having received it no questions asked. 

    You will be responsible for the actual shipping costs to facilitate a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes the costs of shipping the item to you in the first place, and the cost of shipping back to us. 

    Items returned must be in 'as-new' condition. This means you have not used, assembled, damaged, washed or laundered. Please return items secured in their original packaging. If you cannot return an item 'as new' in its original packaging, a handling and restocking fee may apply up to 20% of the value of the item. 

    For any large decor or furniture items, please message us via the 'contact us' form on the website or email info@diannalynndecor.com.au to assist with organising your return. 

    Once we receive the returned items, we will fully refund you the amount you paid for the order less any cost incurred to Dianna-Lynn Decor shipping the items. 

    3. Damaged or faulty returns

    In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or faulty, please notify Dianna-Lynn Decor as soon as possible for a replacement, store credit or a full refund. Please message us via the 'contact us' form on the website or email info@diannalynndecor.com.au to assist with organising your return.

    You may be required to send us images of the damage for further assessment. Dianna-Lynn Decor will give you the option to arrange a replacement for part/whole of the item, or provide you with a store credit or a full refund. Any refund will be made back to the payment option you chose with your original order. Please do not attempt to return the items before speaking to us (you may be responsible for any associated expenses if you do so).

    We will not refund or replace a product that you have bought and received where, in our reasonable opinion, the product has: become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.

    4. Warranty Claim

    Dianna-Lynn Decor works closely with suppliers to ensure all products have appropriate warranties. Please email info@diannalynndecor.com.au to submit a warranty claim. You may be required to send us images of the damage to aid in our assessment. We will then contact the supplier to finalise your warranty claim. Please do not attempt to return an item before making contact with us (you may be responsible for any associated expenses).

    We will not refund or replace a product that you have bought and received where, in our reasonable opinion, the product has: become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; failure to use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.
